Intro Paragraph

[edit]

The "non threatening black spokesperson" is may be great satire, but it is not necessary for a wikipedia article.

missing year

[edit]

On March 4th, Haysbert guest starred on Saturday Night Live.

March 4th of what year? 207.69.137.10 01:34, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Buck Rogers

[edit]

He plays a gate attendant for a commercial starship flight in the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century episode "A Dream of Jennifer". He can be seen within the first 15 minutes of the episode.

was he credited? if not. it's not worth mentioning. if its not on imdb, chances are theres not a need for it on the wiki article. 68.100.5.79 19:51, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Allstate Commercials

[edit]

Doesn't he do the Allstate commercials? If he does shouldn't it be in the article? Just wondering.Smileyface 12 91 10:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He does. User:worldthoughts 23:45, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I see this has now been added (a good thing IMO) but I think it goes a little too far. By all means, mention the ads but there's no need to go as far as explaining in detail how the commercials attempt to convince people to switch to AllPay. The sentence I take most issue with is: "Allstate used the Neil Sedaka song "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" in television commercials to promote Allstate's car insurance. Breaking up is hard to do, the ads averred, unless one has an Allstate agent to undertake the deed for the customer (switching from another insurer to Allstate). The viewer learned that "breaking up is easy to do" as reassured on the screen by Haysbert." 86.188.91.42 (talk) 19:23, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know if the begining speaking part of the song "Strength Through Music" Is actually President Palmer? I am the Tape! (talk) 20:40, 16 August 2008 (UTC)User:Tapeisback[reply]

Filmography Error

[edit]

In the filmography, there's a line that reads as follows.

• Waiting to Exhale19957tyo*Absolute Power (1997)

I would have fixed it, but I had no idea what the "7tyo*" was, or what to do with it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.84.113.170 (talk) 02:30, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
